Private Beta 2 Alive and Kicking – Win a Wii!

This past weekend has been a big one for us! We successfully launched our second private beta on Friday with lots of new features (see previous post). We are getting closer and closer to the finish line for our public beta launch.

With most of the core features now in place, we are able to run competitions with our beta users and award prizes. We will be awarding two of those nearly-impossible-to-find Nintendo Wii’s to the most avid users of our site. One Wii will be awarded to the overall top voter between now and the end of June. The other Wii will be awarded to the Tapper with the most people on their Friend List at the end of June. To create a thriving community, these friends must upload a profile picture.

If you are one of the lucky people in our private beta, we ask that you start spreading the word to everyone you think will enjoy Tapatap!

Private Beta 2 Coming Up

We want to thank everyone who has participated in our first private beta. The response has been overwhelming and we have received tons of great feedback. Our improvements list now numbers in the hundreds. It has been very enlightening to learn what people like, understand, don’t like, and are confused about. If you are involved in the current beta and have not yet started sharing your contests with friends, please start now. The more the merrier.

The second beta will be launching soon and will include lots of new features and bug fixes. Key highlights include the following:

• Company Contest – “Favorite New Tapatap Feature?” – Get involved and influence our product development process. Vote for the features you would most like for us to launch next
• Company Contest – “Which Charity Deserves 1% of Tapatap?” – We set aside 1% of Tapatap for charities. Help us decide who we should choose!
• Tap Leader Boards – See who is leading the pack with the most Taps earned daily and in the current month and view past daily and monthly results.
• Contest Results – When contests are completed, view the winning entries and the people that submitted them.
• Contest Categories – Browse contests my category type like music, pop culture, fashion, beauty, etc.
• Advanced Contest Creation – Gain more control over your creations including specifying start, end, and vote dates, whether other members can submit photos to your contests, and much more.
• Personal Message Inbox – Every user will have a personal message inbox to view and manage contest invitations, contest status notifications, prize announcements, friend invitations, private messages, comment approvals, and Tapatap news and events.
• Improved Feedback Form – We want to hear everything you have to say so we have streamlined the feedback process!
